Two-factor authentication, also known as 2FA, provides a secondary layer of security that markedly improves the security of your account.

Once you have activated 2FA, every time you want to access your Ping account, in addition to your username and password, you will have to enter the numerical code provided by the authenticator application that you downloaded at the moment of activation. It can be Authy or Google Authenticator, for example.

Two-step identification is a system to confirm that it is really you who is accessing your account. Sometimes, there may be password leaks on the Internet, or you may have your pet's name as your password and someone can guess it.

Therefore, it's best to activate 2FA to have a way to confirm that it is you who is trying to access your Ping Latam account.
